MARCH 1 DEADLINES -- NOMINATIONS, PROPOSALS

March 1 is the deadline for submitting an application to the Nominations Committee to run for an office (elected or appointed). Fill out the Nominations Form at this LINK. 

March 1 is also the deadline for submitting proposals that will be discussed at the Delegates Meeting.  See more about that at this LINK.  

2026 Delegates Meeting: Hotel & Registration Info

Attached (see link) please find the Welcome Letter and Location Information for the 2026 Delegates Meeting in Buffalo, NY.  The Welcome Letter includes the Meeting Registration Form, Carnation Order Form, and Travel Information Form.   LINK TO WELCOME LETTER & LOCATION INFO.  All Forms are due by March 27, 2026. 

2029 Gaufest -- Looking for a Host

The Gauverband Meetings Committee is actively seeking a Verein interested in hosting the 32. Gaufest in 2029. As of now, no bids have been submitted for review or vote at the upcoming Delegates Meeting. To make the process easier, the Meetings Committee has waived all bid‑submission deadlines and is ready to support any Verein that may be considering a bid—even if you’re not able to prepare a complete proposal by May.

Nominations are Open for Ausschuss Positions

The Nominations Committee for the 2026 elections that will take place at the Delegates Meeting has put together information on how to nominate a candidate and how the election process will be handled.  March 1 is the deadline to get your nomination form in so that it is included in the meeting packet that will go out before the meeting.  Nominations can be submitted after that but may not be included in the packet.  The link below introduces the committee members and contains the link to the nomination form itself.  The Gauschriftführerin sent this information to the mailing list.
