Gauverband Nordamerika

We are thrilled to announce that Festring Munich has invited Gauverband Nordamerika to participate in the Trachten‑ und Schützenzug parade and perform at Festzelt Tradition in 2028 coinciding with GTEV Schlierachtaler Stamm NY and SVEV d’Oberlandler Milwaukee celebrating their 100th anniversaries.

The highlight of the weekend will be the Trachten‑ und Schützenzug parade on Sunday, September 17, 2028, followed by a planned performance at Festzelt Tradition on Monday, September 18.

This summary is meant to let you know about decisions made and subjects discussed at the 2026 Delegates Meeting held on May 1-3 in Buffalo, New York.  When the minutes are published in a few months, there will be much more detail.

At the Delegates Meeting, three Vereine announced big events and celebrations coming up in the next two years. We're all invited!

• September 4, 2027 -- Schuhplattlergruppe Alpenland Montreal's 75. Jubiläum
• May 26-28, 2028 -- GTEV Schlierachtaler Stamm NY's 100th Year Anniversary Celebration
• November 11, 2028 -- Alt Washingtonia's Fahnenweihe & 50th Anniversary
