The Education Committee is pleased to share the lineup of workshops at the 29.Gaufest -- you don't want to miss them! Reminder for Vereine to Complete the Gauverband Nordamerika Census by September 1, 2023   deadline extended to Sept. 17!

Here is a link with our finalized Einzelpreisplatteln list and circle schedules. We had a few registration corrections and a few withdrawals since our initial version. This is our final list going into Gaufest.

Attention all seamstresses!

Are you looking for new apron patterns, smocking ideas, sewing advice, or the chance to make your own apron?  Annamirl Raab & Petra Schadt will be conducting an apron workshop at the Gaufest just for you. Both Annamirl and Petra are well-known and highly regarded Trachten seamstresses in Bavaria. There they have conducted countless sewing seminars related to every aspect of women’s Tracht.  They’re now bringing their knowledge and talent to our Gauverband.

Please include: Verein name, student name, institution of graduation, and level (HS diploma, Bachelors, Masters, etc.), future plans (next school or career) and any special honors and a picture (in Tracht if possible). Please reply by June 30 to include in the next issue of the Gauzeitung.
