The following from Michael Olk of the Heimat Tänzer, Omaha, NE:  It is our pleasure to announce that the 2018 Delegates Meeting will be hosted by the Heimat Tänzer of Omaha, Nebraska. The Delegates Meeting will take place on the 27th -29th of April, 2018. The meeting will take place at the German-American Society Inc. in Omaha, Nebraska, which is a little over 1 mile from the hotel where everyone will be staying.

A wonderful article recently appeared in the Bavarian "Ammerseer Kurier" newspaper about the Gauverband's newest Ehrenmitglied, Sepp Kaindl.  Author Beate Bentele wrote the article that also includes much information about the 26. Gaufest in Buffalo.  The Bavarians are proud that Sepp is only the second Ehrenmitglied and the first from outside North America.  The article describes many of Sepp's contributions to Gau-NA and how active he is, as well, in Bayern.  Stephen Hargreaves' photos of the awarding of the Urkunde and pin add to the article's interest.

Our good friend Vroni Menzinger of Trachten Poellmann has found us a resource for Fingerhakel Ringe in Bayern! So, we are putting together a mass order for everyone who had expressed interest from the Fingerhakeln Workship at the 26.Gaufest in Buffalo.
