Munich Oktoberfest -- Save the Date for '28!

We are thrilled to announce that Festring Munich has invited Gauverband Nordamerika to participate in the Trachten‑ und Schützenzug parade and perform at Festzelt Tradition in 2028 coinciding with GTEV Schlierachtaler Stamm NY and SVEV d’Oberlandler Milwaukee celebrating their 100th anniversaries.

The highlight of the weekend will be the Trachten‑ und Schützenzug parade on Sunday, September 17, 2028, followed by a planned performance at Festzelt Tradition on Monday, September 18.

Registration will run from August through November 1, 2027. A workshop at the 2027 Gaufest will cover registration and logistics—stay tuned for more details as we prepare.

To kick off the Oktoberfest festivities, a Heimatabend is also anticipated on Friday, September 15, hosted by our celebrating groups—providing a wonderful start to what promises to be an unforgettable weekend.
