Lechgaufest - Last Minute Reminders

Hi Everyone, here are some last minute things to remember as you prepare for Lechgau-Trachtenfest in Steingaden in a few weeks.

Please dress appropriately.  I wrote a post on the schedule of events and what to wear.  This is on our Gauverband website.  Please read through it at this link.

• The "Fest" starts 8:45 Sunday morning with a procession to Mass, and then from Mass to the Festzelt.  If you participate, and when you get there, look for the Gauverband Nordamerika Fahne.  Klaus Vikari, our Gaufahnenträger, will lead us.
• At the Fest we each need a "Festzeichen" that will cost 2.50 Euro each.  Please see Klaus (go to our flag).  He has graciously agreed to collect this fee and check us in as a Gauverband.  He will then distribute the Festzeichen.
• Work obligations prevent me from attending.  Cathy and I arrive later in the week.  However, we will have several Gau-NA officers in attendance.  I've asked Klaus Vikari to take charge with the help of Fritz Sheffler, one of our Beisitzer.  Erech Morrison will also be there.
