Latest Gaufest Information from our Hosts

The 30. Gaufest hosts are so excited and can’t wait to welcome you in July. We are counting down, and it is going to be a beautiful weekend in Delaware!  Here are some notes and updates we would like to share with you.  More final times and details will be available Mid-June.

Fest Tent & Tickets: There’s so much planned for Gaufest that we decided we’re getting a bigger festival tent! That means more room for dancing, music, singing, card playing, workshops, and camaraderie! It also means there’s more room for YOU! As a result, we have extended the deadline to purchase Fest Tickets to June 15!  Have more members or friends that want to come?

30. Gaufest Souvenirs: Enjoy any beverage type in the Gaufest Mug and Tumbler!

If supplies remain you may purchase them at Gaufest. 

Schedule: We plan to share the final schedule times mid-June.  This will be posted on the website where all the most current information and details will be found.

Workshops: So many exciting topics will be revealed soon and will include Adult and Children’s dancing, folk dance history, cooking demo, and Biergarten Singstunde which you will not want to miss!

Form of Payment for Purchases at Gaufest: Purchases at the Food Tent and beverage purchases at the Biergarten will be cashless. However, there will be some small ticket items that we will accept cash for.  It may be a good idea to prepare to pay with a Card and also have some cash for those small ticket items that may come your way.

Bands: “Mit Musik geht alles besser!”  Gaufest is a weekend of camaraderie, and of dancing and we can’t do either of those without wonderful music from these bands:

Being at our Clubhouse we have the ability to serve German and American delicacies at a family friendly affordable price.

• Thursday Evening featuring Assorted Wurst, Sandwiches, Salad, Snacks.  Featured items include Steckerlfisch and Leberkaese & Semmel.
• Friday Breakfast Items & Lunch featuring Assorted Wurst, Deli Style Sandwiches, Salad, Snacks
• Saturday Breakfast Items & Lunch featuring Assorted Wurst, Sandwiches, Salad, Snacks
• Sunday Night - featuring American style Pulled Pork sandwich

Beer: Beer will now also be included in your ticket on Thursday evening and Sunday evening at the Farewell Party.  The Beers included in your ticket are: Paulaner Munich Lager, Paulaner Hefe-Weizen, Spaten Lager, Franziskaner Weissbier, Michelob Ultra and Miller Lite.

Our Biergarten will be open when Beer is not included in the Fest Ticket, or if you would like to you purchase any of your other favorite spirits.
