Noah Nairne, son of Rich and Brenda Nairne, has been diagnosed with grade 3 anaplastic astrocytoma (brain cancer).  The Nairne family are members of G.T.E.V. Maple Leaf Almraush in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.  Noah initially had surgery to remove the tumor, but 3 weeks later a second tumor was found that is inoperable.  He has finished a 6 week round of daily chemotherapy and will be starting a second round of bi-weekly chemo.  He is an inspirational youngster who continues to smile and dance at practice and Almrausch functions when he can.  Maple Leaf Almrausch is hosting a benefit for Noah to raise funds to help with mounting medical bills that are not covered by insurance.  If you would like to read more and consider sending a donation please click on the link below for more information.
