The members of Alpenrose Schuhplattler Verein are celebrating their 44th Anniversary. Join them for the festivities beginning at 6 pm on Saturday, Nov. 18, at the Lancaster Liederkranz Hall, 722 S. Chiques Road, Manheim, PA. The Verein would welcome an Ehrentanz performance by your dancers; any musicians are also welcome to bring your instruments and play along. Dance music will be provided by Maria, John, Chip & friends. Ticket price for non-Trachtler is $8 at the door. A buffet dinner may be purchased for $12 for adults, $6 for children 10 and under from 6-8 pm.

The members of Die Gemütlichen Schuhplattler of Anaheim, California, have special guests visiting soon from the Verein Alt Rosenheim in Bayern. During the days Alt Rosenheim will be there, two great events will be taking place. Everyone who would like to attend is welcome to come.

The award-winning Musikkapelle Rottenbuch, straight from Bavaria, will be the featured music for the night. To say the 40 musicians are terrific is an understatement. Edelweiss Passaic New Jersey invites you to its 60th Anniversary on Saturday, June 3, at the covered pavilion at Germania Park in Rockaway Township, NJ. The Austrian Boys will play from 6-10 pm. Bavarian dancers, folk dancing, Masskrugstemmen, and a Schnitzelbank will provide more entertainment. Plenty of German food and beverages will be available to purchase.
