Delegates Meeting: Food & Transportation

Gruaß Gott! Lieber Trachtler und Herzlich Willkommen zu Omaha von die Heimat Tänzer,

Just a few reminders and some schedule items for the weekend.

Friday the 27th at the German- American Society, shuttles will start bringing people over at 6:30pm from the Best Western to the German – American Society where we will have a free of charge buffet set up for dinner and there will be a cash bar with a large selection of German beers, wines, Schnapps and other drinks including soda and water. We will also be giving out the flowers at the Club for those who ordered them. The Credentials Committee will also be checking in the Delegates around 8:00 pm in the Main Hall and giving out the packets for the weekend. We will also have our German – American Heritage Museum of Omaha open for viewing and tours for anyone who is interested.  Heinz Olk, our 1. Vorstand, will also have our German Store (Das Kleine Eck Geschäft) open also under the stage.

Saturday April 28th the shuttles will start running from the Best Western at 7:00 am to the German – American Society where we will be serving a light breakfast. At 12:00 noon we will be serving a Bayerische Brotzeit. At 7:00 pm we will be serving a sit down plated meal so make sure you have your meal ticket for the meal you ordered. After the Saturday evening meal there will be two parties that will be taking place. One in the south hall sponsored by Edelweiss Passaic and the other in the Ratskeller sponsored by Chiemgau Windsor.

Sunday April 29th the shuttles will be picking everyone up from the Best Western at 7:00 am to the German- American Society for another light breakfast. Remember to bring your luggage with you in the morning since we will be taking you to the airport from our clubhouse. At 12:00 noon we will be serving a buffet style lunch.  If you need to eat a little earlier, please let us know and we will see what we can do.
